Why did we go to dinner?

As as mother, have you ever done something and during the moment thought, what in the world was I thinking? Well we decided to take all three kids to dinner last night.  Surely it couldn't be that bad.  WRONG!!!  The moment we sat down at the restaurant, Ryan was screaming.  Don't think I mean he was just whining.  No he was screaming, throwing food, and extremely unhappy.  Well you don't want to tell him NO and put him in time out with 100 people staring at you, I mean he is only 20 months old.  So I hold him why he screams, then Andy decides to take him outside, praying this will calm him down.  Meanwhile, the 5 year old, is jumping out of his seat, yelling things at me (like all of the sudden I lost my hearing), standing in his seat (like we have never taught him manners).  Abby the twin was just sitting there eating her hushpuppies, not a problem in the world.  Meanwhile, her mother is having a nervous breakdown.  Finally, Ryan comes back and sits in my lap and eats. Guess what, now its Abby.  She is now full and ready to go play.  Now both twins want to get down and take off.  So I bet you are wondering how the night turned out.....Well Andy left with the twins, and Dylan and I rode home with Carmen.  Yes there was actually someone else there, who would have known...I don't even know if I ate anything.  And you wonder why Andy and I argue and lose our minds...does this happen to anyone else?????? Are we alone in this world????

National Championship Celebration

Well Saturday we headed to Auburn for the National Championship Celebration.  As well as, 78,000 other Auburn fans.  It was awesome.  We did just about freeze to death before we got in the stadium, don't think we would ever make it up north.  I only took Dylan to enjoy the celebration.  I figured it would be to much for the twins, good thinking mom.  We had a great time.  We got really good seats and got to see Cam pretty close up.  It was a long day, but well worth it.  I hate that was the end of the celebrations this year.

Oh My...Surprise!!!

Well if you ever wonder why our title is One Crazy Family, let me tell you. Ryan, the boy twin, has this virus called Slap Cheek.  Well he has not been so pleasant to be around.  He has cried and whined all day.  Then the evening had it typical events.  Someone screaming because someone took their toy, someone screaming because mommy could not hold them, someone screaming because they are hungry, someone screaming because they want some juice, need I go on.  Well it was finally bath time, a time I look forward to because for 30 minutes no one is crying.  As I take the babies out of the bath and bundle them up, we head to the room, and all of the sudden I feel something wet on me.  I will give you two guesses what happened.  You got it!!  From the time I got Abby out of the bathtub and into their room, she had managed to poop everywhere.  All over me, all over her, all over the towel, and as I walked back in the bathroom there sitting in the bathtub is something I can't even type. Can you guess what she left in the tub? So what do I do. Well grab toilet paper, pick it up and throw it in the toilet.  Next, rinse out the tub, throw the poor child back in the tub, then flush the toilet..but wait...now the toilet is overflowing, water is going everywhere, child is screaming in the bathtub because she is freezing, other child is screaming in the bedroom because they are still naked. Then my five year old walks in and says, yuck mommy Abby pooped.  No kidding!  So now if you ever question the title, you will understand!  The joys of parenthood!!!!! I need a drink!

Auburn!!!

Have you ever had a day when you were at the end of your rope?  Well I was having that day Saturday.  My husband had strep throat and Ryan has slap cheek.  Yes slap cheek, and no don't ask me what it is.  It's a virus that looks like someone slapped him in the face.  Sometimes I wonder where all these illnesses come from.  Well my family calls and says let's go to Auburn and walk around.  AWESOME!!  So I packed up Abby and left the sick boys at home.  I never thought it would have been as much fun as it was.  We walked the streets of Auburn.  There was still toliet paper everywhere, people everywhere and Auburn stuff like you would not believe. It was so nice just to spend a day with the girls, and Abby had a blast!!!

Santa! Santa!

Well I am sure there are other mothers like me who spend time trying to find the perfect shirt for your childs picture with Santa.  Well we found three adorable shirts, with the childrens initials on them.  We got everyone's hair brushed, Abby's hair fixed and everyone was looking good.  Believe me this did not happen without screaming, throwing oneself on the floor, someone falling in the dirt on the way out the door, need I go on.  When we arrived to see Santa, we were so thrilled that the line was short.  You know what would of happened if the line was long.  So all this and this is how it turned out......................

Day One

Well here we go.  I have never created anything like this before.  Possibly because I am not the most technology savy person.  Not to mention time being another issue.  But hey, lets give it a try.  Let's see I teach school, I have three beautiful children and a wonderful husband.  I have a 5 year old, and 19 month old twins.  So I hope that I can keep this up, but time could be a problem sometimes.  However, what an incredible way for my family and friends to keep up with our crazy lifestyle.

Yes I have one more child.  However, I am just playing around so more to come....trust me!!!
