Ok..so its been awhile since I have blogged. Sorry but life has been crazy. With school ending and birthdays and summer beginning things have been hectic. Well let's say this summer has started off with a bang. We have been in the pool almost everyday since summer has started. It is absolutely to hot to do anything else, and the kids love swimming. I have posted a few pictures of us swimming and some of us just hanging out and playing.

Easter 2011
Well it takes so much time getting ready for Easter...the perfect basket, the perfect outfit, the perfect toy and then its over before you know it. We had an amazing Easter with our family. Andy's parents came down and went to our church with us. Saturday we went to Auburn and played around and then went out to a very cool restaurant, the kids loved it. Then Sunday morning was filled with opening Easter Bunny's surprises and off to church. The kids actually did amazing with hunting Easter eggs. They went and found them and put them in their baskets. I could not of asked for a better easter....

Nicknames
Ryan and Abby have become little comedians. They go everywhere together and get into everything together. I swear they are Thing 1 and Thing 2. But the funniest thing is the way they call each other. Of course we call Ryan..Ry Ry. So everywhere Abby goes she is saying Ry Ry because she wants him with her or she wants him to do what she is doing. Now Ryan can't quit say Abby so he calls her Babby. So now Ryan is walking around saying Babby. The other day Ryan wanted Abby to go in the other room with him, so he goes and grabs her arm and says...Mon Babby, Mon Babby, instead of come on Abby. I thought I would die laughing. Their language is absolutely hilarious. So Ry Ry and Babby I guess are now my children's names.

Fun with the Camera
Well I finally decided to mess around with all the lenses that go with my camera I got for Christmas. I had a great time and realized that I really do like my camera. I am not one who enjoys reading directions, I guess I just like to figure things out on my own. One last thing I realized is that I have the most beautiful children, I only have God to thank for that....

Rocky Top Tennessee!!!
Well this spring break eight of us teachers decided to go to Gatlinberg, Tennessee...what an amazing trip!! Though it seemed like it took forever to get there and through Atlanta traffic would make anyone crazy, we had a great time. We stayed in a four bedroom cabin on top of a mountain and let me tell you the first night we had an awful storm and we had to climb this mountain in the dark and in the rain...WOW!!! Aly and I were just about laid out in the backseat, we tried not to look. The next day there was filled with shopping, shopping and more shopping. When we left that morning to start shopping it was snowing on top of the mountain and sunny at the bottom, amazing. We shopped until we couldn't go anymore. Then we headed back and had tacos and played games, it was perfect. We headed home the next day, but it was the perfect amount of time. To much longer and we may have all been broke. It was nice to get away, however it was nice to come home and see my babies.....

Owner's Manuel??
Ok...do children come with an owner's manuel? Is there a book that tells you what to do when your child throws herself on the floor, or when they are sick and won't let you put them down but you have to cook dinner for the other two, or a book that tells you the proper punishment for things, or something that tells you what to do when all they do is whine? I must say being a mother is the hardest but most rewarding job ever. This past Sunday getting out the door to go to church was insane...anyone ever been there?? I finally looked at my husband and said well honey I guess I will have to go to hell because this is just not worth it. Of course I was only kidding. However, when we finally made it to church the kids just love it. We are so happy with our new church and so glad we made the move. Well I took some pictures of the kids Sunday because I just thought they looked so darn cute. Of course these are not the best pictures because its hard to get them all looking at the same time. But to me its perfect....

Twins!
So I was sitting at work, like every other day and daycare sent me this beautiful picture of the twins. You know it was right when I was having a really hard day and it just brightened up my day. Through all the madness, I love my children more than anything in the world!!!

Andy's Big Win!!!
Well Friday I packed the twins up and we headed to Moultrie, GA to see Andy play in his big golf tournament. Let's see I left work at noon, went home and packed, used every bit of my energy to load the car, headed to daycare to get the kids, loaded them up, got their movie going, and finally hit the road. Wow! Lucky, they did very good on the trip and we didn't have to stop. Well the tournament was Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We had a great time and got to visit all our cousins. Andy ended up winning the low pro of the tournament, HOORAH!! Well let me share this! Sunday was the big award ceremony and being absent minded like I sometimes can be, I decided it would be a good idea to take the twins to the golf course to see their daddy finish up. Big mistake, big, huge! Well during the award ceremony, Ryan managed to climb on top of the #9 green and pull the flag out and was swinging it around. Abby decided to roll down the hill, then decided to just take off. As I am trying to grab Ryan, I notice that Abby was halfway up the fairway. How in the world can you grab two children who are going in two different directions? You have to scream for help. Well by now everyone was looking at us like are you crazy. So that was enough, we loaded up and headed back to Gram's house. At that moment I thought I am crazy. We did have a wonderful time and we are so proud of our Andy!!!

Mom's Night Out!
Ok so my husband agreed to let me go play Bunco with some teachers from work last night. He was to take care of all three kids, a task that is hard for anyone. During the night, I sent him a text to check on things, and he said everything was going great, awesome I thought! But then......my phone goes off and this is what I read. "Abby has crapped all in the tub, corn and all. Honey there is pooh everywhere, all over the toys and all over her. Why does she do this Jennifer, Ryan doesn't pooh in the tub. It just ticks me off!" Those were my husbands words...what did I do? Well of course I died laughing, I showed every teacher that I was with. I know I should not of laughed but how could I not. When I got home my husband looked like he had just been drugged with something. He wasn't talking or moving. I just kissed him and went to bed. Got to love these days... :)

Evenings in our house!
Evenings in our house have become, well rather interesting. After my long day at work and dealing with 30 children, I head off to pick up my children. Well as soon as we get home, everything begins. To begin Ryan and Abby do not want to come in the house. Therefore, before I can even get my things gathered up, Ryan and Abby are halfway up the road. Heck maybe they have decided to run away. Then I have to drag them in the house, just so I can put my stuff down. Needless to say they are screaming. So next we try to get some time outside before dinner. However, I have found that challenging. How can I let them play outside and manage to cook dinner? Then they scream and cry when I do finally bring them in to get dinner ready. Now they hang on my legs and cry while I cook dinner, meanwhile Dylan (the 5 year old) is saying, mommie can I do this, mommie can I do that, mommie can you cut this on, mommie can you turn the computer on, and so forth. Finally, dinner time and I will say this time has actually become enjoyable. We got a new kitchen table that we can all sit at and we seem to have a nice sit down dinner. At least for now....Please tell me there are other mothers out there who go through the same things??????

Winter Break
Well we had a winter break this year. Pretty much we had a nice long weekend. So Andy and I decided to go visit his family for the weekend, and get out of town. Has anyone out there ever traveled with three kids? Oh my gosh! What normally should be a two hour trip turns into a four hour trip. Someone has to stop and potty, someone is crying because they dropped something, someone wants a certain toy (that happens to be all the way in the back of the car), and who knows what else. I am not lying when I say that we pulled out of the driveway at 2:30, well at 3:30 we were still in Columbus. I guess one day this will all be wonderful memories, one day we will laugh at all this. Well we finally made it and had a wonderful time. The kids got to visit their cousins and thier grandparents. It was nice to just get away. Even if the trip took forever. :)
Soccer
Well I will have to admit it seems to be hard to find time to blog. With three kids and so much more going on, you can't seem to find the time. Well Dylan has now begun to play soccer. It's the sport that he has been saying that he wanted to play, so we decided to give it a try. He seems to be doing good. One small problem, as the coach is talking and giving directions, Dylan is over there singing and dancing. Don't know how we are going to be successful at soccer doing all that. :) He seems to be loving it, and I do believe that is all that matters. By the looks of his picture, he looks like he knows what he is doing.

What an Ending to a hard day....
You know when you try to balance a career and raising three children, it will get tough. After the typical 5:30 wakening, a hard day at work, dinner, bath for three, brush teeth, play, laundry, clean up house, etc., you don't have much energy left for much more. Well just like most nights we always head off to the babies room to read a book. So I tell my three children, time to go read a book and off we go. Well I had to change the laundry before I headed to the room. Well when I walked in Ryan and Abby's room this is what I found....
Dylan had gotten up in the chair and proceeded to read to Ryan and Abby. Of course he can't read yet, however he has books memorized. How could I ask for more when I see something like this? Every moment that life gets to be to hard, or every moment I feel like I just can't go on, these children give me all the motivation in the world.

Is the cold gone yet?
Well it's been awhile since I have blogged. Why you ask? Well for one it seems like everyone in my house has had every virus that has ever been diagnosed. Let's see we have had the flu, strep, stomach viruses, sinus infections, etc. Seems like you get one well and then bang here comes something else. We did have a chance to get outside a little this weekend and the kids loved it. They actually got to ride some of their toys from Christmas. Dylan spent most of the weekend with some of his friends from school that live in the neighborhood. I can't believe Dylan is already at the age where he goes to a friend's house. You know now they are all in to playing transformers and race cars, how that is going to change in 10 years. Abby and Ryan on the other hand are a different story. Ryan's favorite word is ball and Abby's favorite word is Barbie. Isn't that amazing how they just know what to play with? Abby also wears a tutu all around the house and loves to dance in it. She thinks when she has it on she is a princess! She must get that from her mother!! :)

Why did we go to dinner?
As as mother, have you ever done something and during the moment thought, what in the world was I thinking? Well we decided to take all three kids to dinner last night. Surely it couldn't be that bad. WRONG!!! The moment we sat down at the restaurant, Ryan was screaming. Don't think I mean he was just whining. No he was screaming, throwing food, and extremely unhappy. Well you don't want to tell him NO and put him in time out with 100 people staring at you, I mean he is only 20 months old. So I hold him why he screams, then Andy decides to take him outside, praying this will calm him down. Meanwhile, the 5 year old, is jumping out of his seat, yelling things at me (like all of the sudden I lost my hearing), standing in his seat (like we have never taught him manners). Abby the twin was just sitting there eating her hushpuppies, not a problem in the world. Meanwhile, her mother is having a nervous breakdown. Finally, Ryan comes back and sits in my lap and eats. Guess what, now its Abby. She is now full and ready to go play. Now both twins want to get down and take off. So I bet you are wondering how the night turned out.....Well Andy left with the twins, and Dylan and I rode home with Carmen. Yes there was actually someone else there, who would have known...I don't even know if I ate anything. And you wonder why Andy and I argue and lose our minds...does this happen to anyone else?????? Are we alone in this world????

National Championship Celebration
Well Saturday we headed to Auburn for the National Championship Celebration. As well as, 78,000 other Auburn fans. It was awesome. We did just about freeze to death before we got in the stadium, don't think we would ever make it up north. I only took Dylan to enjoy the celebration. I figured it would be to much for the twins, good thinking mom. We had a great time. We got really good seats and got to see Cam pretty close up. It was a long day, but well worth it. I hate that was the end of the celebrations this year.
